Fourteen Shia Infallibles

The 14 Shia Imams, are listed below and the first of these is the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) and the last is his descendant Imam Mehdi (A.S.)

These are the following in order they served as the Imam:

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). This is the last of 124,000 Prophets sent by God.

Lady Fatima Zahra (Peace Be Upon her). This is the daughter of the Holy Prophet of Islam.

Imam Ali (A.S.). This is the first Shia Imam and is also related to the Holy Prophet, as he is his Cousin and Father In Law.

Imam Hassan (A.S.) This is the son of Imam Ali (a.s.) and Lady Fatima (s.a.)

Imam Hussain (A.S.) This is the son of Imam Ali (a.s.) and Lady Fatima (s.a.) He was massacred by the forces of Yazid (son of M'uawiyah)

Imam Zain Ul Abidin (A.S.) This is the son of Imam Hussain (a.s.). He is a survivor of the massacre in which his father and family was assasinated.

Imam Mohammad Baqir (A.S.) This is the son of Imam Zain Ul Abidin (a.s.). He is a survivor of the massacre in which his father was imprisoned and grandfather was assasinated.

Imam Jaffer Al Sadiq (A.S.) This is the son of Imam Mohammad Baqir (a.s.). He is credited with re-writing and restoring the works of his ancestors after it was destoyed by unjust Rulers.

Imam Musa Al Kazim (A.S.). This is the son of Imam Jaffer Al Sadiq (a.s.).

Imam Ali Al Reza (A.S.). This is the son of Imam Musa Al Kazim (a.s.).

Imam Mohammad Al Taqi (A.S.). This is the son of Imam Ali Al Reza (a.s.). He became an Imam at the age of Nine years Old.

A Divine rule can be established only by a man , who, where justice and equity are required, neither feels deficient nor weak and who is not greedy and avaricious. . . . - (Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S)

Imam Ali Al Naqi (A.S.). This is the son of Imam Mohammad Al Taqi (a.s.). He was assasinated at the age of 28 years.

Imam Hassan Al Askari (A.S.). This is the son of Imam Mohammad Naqi (a.s.).

Imam Mohammad Al Mehdi (A.S.). This is the son of Imam Hassan Al Askari (a.s.). He is currently in occulation and will re-appear before the end of time.
